Howe Park Woods Events and Workshops

Paul Bryant’s Fantasy Forest is an eye catching, but simple glazed landscape painting that is easy to do. Join me for a day time workshop on Sunday 30th April, and at the end of the day, you will be taking this home. You will paint it under my tuition and it will be your own masterpiece. This painting is suitable for any standard of painter from the simply terrified to the experienced. This painting is based on Howe Park Woods in Milton Keynes

You should be able to add your own colours in this workshop (within reason). You can paint it in a range of spring, summer, or autumnal colours as seen below. Bring the children, they will love it.

The venue will be the Westbury Arts Centre, Foxcovert Road, Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes, MK5 6AA. The cost is £65.00 with optional frames at £20.00. Go to the Workshop Bookings page

To find Westbury Arts Centre, drive down H6 Childs Way. If coming from the MK City end, cross the Shenley Roundabout and Foxcovert Road is the 3rd road on the right. If coming from the Buckingham side, cross the Oxley Park Roundabout and take the 1st turning on the left.  Then take the 1st turning on the left and go past the cars mounted on top of each other to the big house.

Daisies Aglow: Based On An Idea From Marion Dutton. Westbury Arts Centre

Daisies aglow

Marion Dutton’s “Daisies Aglow” is the subject of my next art lesson. It is an eye catching, yet simple painting to do. In addition, it also has a suitably Christmas feel, and can be painted in any colour you want. This is a workshop that will let you customise your art. Paint it in blue, dark green, red – the choice will be yours.
